Tirante Takes Down Tommy Paul in Madrid

I took this picture when I was waiting for my turn to go on court. Sorry for the bad camera quality, it was taken just before I got my new phone.

I watched this match live from Spanish class and I knew from the third game that Tirante was going to win. I just knew.

For context, I ball kidded for both him and Tommy Paul at the Houston Clay Courts this year. Before that tournament I had literally never heard of Tirante. But after that week I put him on my ATP fantasy team and everyone thought I was crazy for it. They said it was a terrible pick.

He beat Tommy Paul 7-5, 6-4 and I'm just so genuinely happy and proud of him. He went from someone I'd never heard of to one of my favorite players on tour in the span of one week in Houston.

Also yes I was watching tennis in Spanish class. No I don't regret it.
